![]() Once upon a time, the effort required to bring together a meal from first principals meant that families congregated at specific times in the day to eat meals together – the microwave has enabled hot food to be prepared very quickly and been one of the many factors involved in the breakdown of traditional family meal times. The microwave has had a massive impact on the way we consume our food, and particularly, when used in conjunction with the deep freeze, it has enabled us to have our food when it is most convenient, rather than being dictated by traditional meal times. The US$250 WaveBox weighs just 6.3 kg (14 pounds), runs on mains voltage regardless of country, and can also run from a 12 volt battery using alligator leads or from your in-vehicle power outlet. Now a portable microwave oven offers those same capabilities to people who need to prepare food away from the kitchen, or indeed off-the-grid entirely – truckies, RVers, boaties, campers …. It can reheat frozen food or cook raw food in a fraction of the time required of a conventional oven and has brought the convenience of preparing food to new levels. The impact of the microwave oven on human grazing habits has been extreme. This is not a Google Phone, but they will call Nexus One. To purchase Nexus One, we also use an existing Google account and every account is only allowed to buy a maximum of 5 pieces, but we sure about this account's not a problem. The plan will go on sale on January 5, 2010 Regardless of the good news and bad news above, there are some further facts about this phone. The bad news, we think this phone will not be sold in Indonesia, officially because Google will only sell the Nexus One of their own through the Web (as seen in the picture there) but it seems there is hope to buy directly on Google, it's quite expensive, not to mention the risk of loss and the problem of spare parts when it breaks. Prices like that, we think still makes sense lah!! $ 530 for a Nexus One who has been "unlocked" in the sense we can use it anywhere. The good news, the price will be sold U.S. There's good news and bad news for those of you who are waiting for a Google phone AKA Nexus One. ![]() I’m a Firefox user myself, but can’t wait for version 4, when it’ll be able to compete with other browsers in the looks department. The other changes that were seen in the older Firefox 4.0 mockups as well are the inclusion of glass and tabs above the address bar.Ĭurrently, Firefox has the ugliest UI of all browsers. Navigation buttons have a slight shade on them and look glossy. ![]() The updated UI for Firefox 4.0 contains a new App Button similar to the file menu drop down button in the Paint and WordPad apps in Windows 7 or in Office. A hint of this can also be seen in Opera 10.50 leaked build which features a complete redesign and integration of Windows 7 Aero features. They’ve been working hard on redesigning the UI, ever since Google Chrome changed the game for browsers. This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen concept screenshots from Mozilla for Firefox 4.0. Only time will tell what the world’s best performing CEO, Steve Jobs has up his sleeve for this year. Apart from the iPhone, the mythical Apple tablet might be on the cards. It’s hard to imagine what Apple might to do out do the iPhone 3G S which was launched last year, but if I have to take a guess, it might be a good time to introduce multi-tasking, batter display and a better battery life. The most popular rumors right now are the availability of iPhone on other networks such as Verizon or T-Mobile in the U.S. The iPhone was originally launched on June 28, at WWDC 2007, so it wouldn’t come as a surprise to see Apple hosting the event again for new possible announcements which may include the fourth generation iPhone and iPhone OS 4.0.Īs always, Apple keeps a tight hold on secrecy, so we can all just speculate for now. They say that previous Apple events have been registered with the same title, so it’s quiet possible that the dates are reserved for WWDC 2010, the annual Worldwide Developer’s Conference by Apple. According to the latest from Apple Insider, Mascone Center Calendar lists a Corporate Event from June 28 to July 2.
